Who Are We?
Road to Recovery comes under the management of the
Madras Street Mission, whose members are appointed by
the Free North Church.
In response to the increasing problem of alcohol & drug
abuse in Inverness, the management committee has
selected the Road to Recovery Team. The team is led by
Christians who are professionally trained in their
respective fields. Some of the staff are themselves
recovering addicts which provides an added level of
experience and empathy for those seeking
recovery.
The Road to Recovery team is assisted by volunteers who
receive training and assessment to ensure compatibility
and compliance with strict operational rules and
confidentiality.
The Road to Recovery team maintains a professional
relationship with other well established centres of
support to alcohol & drug addicts. Our team works
alongside other social and community services and the
Road to Recovery program is approved and recognised by
these agencies as complimentary to their own recovery
and support programmes.
